Hector "Chippy" Medina Jr.

Hector “Chippy” Medina Jr. passed away on August 9, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 43 years old.  He was born to loving parents, Hector Medina Sr. & Doris Guerra on December 13, 1980 in Floresville, Texas where he was born and raised.

Hector was preceded in death by his grandparents, Victoria Gonzales, Francisco Guerra, Josie Guerra, and Adolfo Medina Sr.  He is survived by his parents, Doris Guerra, Hector Medina Sr. & Jo Cheryl Castro and his beloved children, Isaiah Medina & Loraine Esquivel.  He will be forever cherished by his grandmother, Janie Medina, and his siblings, Jennifer Saldivar, Celina Garza, Maye Medina, Moises Medina, Jaron Medina, Elva Martinez, and Victoria Medina.  Hector truly brought joy and warmth to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 9:30 am on Monday August 19, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by a rosary at 10:30 am.  A Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart at 11:00 am.  A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
