Xavier S. Martinez Sr.

Xavier S. Martinez, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in San Antonio at the age of 55 years 8 months 2 days. He was born on November 12, 1967 in Floresville to Amelia Saldana & Miguel Martinez.  Xavier was a lifetime resident of Floresville. He was a proud Veteran, having served in the U. S. Marine Corp.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers & Sisters, Michael Martinez, Delia Burnett, David Martinez & Roseanne Martinez. He is survived by his Wife, Norma Garcia Martinez of Floresville; Children, Gabrielle Martinez, Xavier Martinez, Jr. & Madeline Martinez, all of Floresville; Brothers & Sister, Jose & wife, Ofelia Martinez, Linda & husband, Juan Ortiz, all of Floresville, Armando & wife, Adrianna Martinez of San Antonio; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & a host of friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Franklin Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Elmendorf, Texas. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Floresville, Texas. Pallbearers will be Xavier Martinez Jr, Jesse Courvier, Jordan Courvier, Ryan Estrada, Amos Garcia, Fernando Canseco III, Richard Saldana, and Jaime Rodriguez.
