William Newnam

William "Bill" Newnam , Jr. went into the loving arms of the Lord on July 29, 2022 at the age of 57 years 8 months 23 days.  He was born on November 6, 1964 in San Antonio to William H., Sr.  & Lajuana Warren Newnam . Bill was a lifetime resident of Floresville and served in the Military Reserve Program in the Medical Division. He owned and operated his business, M.E.T.S. for more than 20 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Floresville.  He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Newnam , Sr ; Sister, Clara Newnam Zinsmeister; & half Sister, Connie Kelly. Bill is survived by his Wife, Monica Newnam of Floresville; Mother, Lajuana Newnam -Leus of Floresville; Children, Rachel Lauren Newnam & William Anthony Newnam , both of Floresville; Sisters, Vera & husband, Gary Richardson of Oklahoma, Sara Larue Canady of Floresville; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & a host of friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in 1st Baptist Church of Floresville. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Terry Smith & Rev, Jim Browning officiating. Interment will follow in Floresville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Samaj, Dan Serrano, David Walker, Jeremiah Canady, Mario Garcia, Matt Rogers, Mike Yeary & Pete Roberts.
