Velinda Martinez Sendejo

Velinda Martinez Sendejo passed into her Eternal rest on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 50 years old.  She was a proud lifetime resident of Floresville, Texas where she was born and raised to loving parents Guadalupe and Eusebio “Cheve” Martinez Sr. on November 15, 1972.

Velinda was preceded in death by her husband, David Flores Sendejo; her brother, Eusebio Martinez Jr; and her grandparents, Amador & Maria Martinez and Geronimo & Saragosa Pacheco.  She was survived by her parents, Eusebio “Cheve” Sr & Guadalupe Martinez as well as by her beloved children, Maria Sendejo, David James Sendejo, and Angel Carvajal.  She also leaves behind her grandchild, Cayden Sendejo and her siblings, Sharon Martinez, Victor Martinez, and Sarah & Chris Trevino.  She truly left a mark on everyone she met and will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Franklin Funeral Home at 5:00 pm and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 10:30 am.  Interment will directly follow at Picosa Martinez Cemetery.
