Trinidad P. Marroquin

Trinidad P. Marroquin passed away peacefully in his San Antonio, Texas home on September 19, 2024 at the age of 86 years old.  He was born in Poth, Texas to loving parents, Elias & Maria Marroquin on June 12, 1938.  Trinidad was a devoted family man who poured his heart into his family and all those who knew him.  His life truly was a testament to the strength of his character and the depths of his love.

Trinidad was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Juanita Marroquin; his parents, Elias & Maria Marroquin; and his siblings, Lupe Lozano and Louie Marroquin.  He is survived by his devoted children, Trinidad Marroquin Jr and wife, Anna Stella of Rockport, Texas, Elias Marroquin and wife, Jessie Marie of Somerset, Texas, Crizelda Marroquin and wife, Tracy Thornton of Houston, Texas, and Benjamin Bartels and husband, Bernard of Corpus Christi, Texas.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Elias Marroquin III and wife, Andrea, Trinidad Matthew Marroquin, and Joshua Adam Marroquin and his partner, Joseph Diaz.  He will also be missed by his sisters, Theresa Marroquin Cantu and Dolores M. Ramos as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Franklin Funeral Home.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am and interment will directly follow at Floresville City Cemetery.  Pallbearers are: Elias Marroquin III, Trinidad Matthew Marroquin, Joshua Adam Marroquin, John Anthony Lomas Jr, Paul Torres, and Trinidad Marroquin Jr.
