Stuart "Stu"
Hamm
August 3, 1965 – April 22, 2026
Stuart “Stu” Hamm passed into his eternal rest on April 22, 2026, in his Floresville, Texas home, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 60 years old. He was born on August 3, 1965, in Fort Huachuca, Arizona to Dot and Jerry Hamm.
Stu was a man who brought laughter wherever he went. With his easy charm and good-hearted nature, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He took great pride in being a father and grandfather, and he held his family close to his heart. Stu was also a man who had a passion for the outdoors and could often be found restoring his WWII Jeep or honing his skills with dove hunting and skeet shoots. He was especially proud to host his famous shootouts, doing what he loved with the people he loved.
Stu was preceded in death by his parents, Dot and Jerry Hamm; and his daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Hamm. He is survived by his loving daughter, Camryn Nicole Becerra (Frank Xavier). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Alivia Ann Becerra and Alexander Xavier Becerra, who meant so much to him. Stu is further survived by his siblings, Craig Armstrong (Lana) and Mark Armstrong (Valerie). He is also lovingly remembered by his girlfriend Christine Quintana. Stu truly left a mark on all who knew him, including his former wife, Nora Hernandez, and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held at Franklin Funeral Home at a date to be determined.
