Sherri Grimes

Sherri Lynne Grimes went into the loving arms of the Lord on Monday, May 15, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 69 years old.  She was born on June 5, 1953 in Leming, Texas to parents, Evelyne and Hugh Clark.

Sherri was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Terri Davis.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Douglas Grimes and her treasured children, Stacie Lynne Hernandez and husband, Jeremy, Kimberly Elaine Perez and husband, Bo, Crystal Dawn Grimes and Melissa Holland.  She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Rebecca & Ernest, Deanna, Levi, Casey, Ryker, Summer, Alyssa, Michael, Kayli & Xavier, Taygan, Dayton, Devin, Aaron, and Calen.  She also leaves behind her great grandchildren, Jasper, Dillon, and Dakota as well as her nieces, Nicole Ortiz and Casey Ringer.  Sherri leaves behind a legacy of love and will forever be remembered by numerous cousins, family, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Franklin Funeral Home from 3:00-5:00 pm.  The Grimes family would like to thank everyone for their words of comfort and support.
