Sharon Piver Keller

August 20, 1942 — August 2, 2024

Sharon Piver Keller, age 81, of Floresville, TX, passed into the arms of her heavenly Father on Friday, August 2, 2024, surrounded by her family. Sharon was the youngest of four children, born on August 20, 1942, in Fort Bragg, California, to Harry Piver and Dorothy Thompson Foster. After graduating from Ukiah High School, she married the love of her life, Max Keller, on April 9, 1960. The couple moved to Texas, where Sharon dedicated herself to raising her family and exemplified remarkable strength throughout her life.

Sharon was preceded in death by her grandmother Irene Thompson, her parents, her brothers Richard and Tom Piver, her in-laws Alois and Clara Keller, and her grandson Jeff Keller Junior. She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Max Keller; her sister Irene Horgan (Tom); her son, Jeff Keller (Lynn); her daughters, Debbie Zaiontz (Ron), Donna Mayorga (Danny), and Jennifer Hoelscher (Richard); and her eleven grandchildren, Rhonda Zaiontz, Lisa Calderon, Shelly Britt (Nathan), Heather Keller, Jason Zaiontz (Ashley), Nicholas Mayorga (Hannah), Ryan Carrasco, Mathew Carrasco, Ashley Resendez (Justin), Victoria Mayorga, Emily Bilano (Joseph); and seventeen great-grandchildren (Ari, Brandon, Brianna, Landon, Kellen, Kyler, Rocco, Aubrey, Weston, Elliana, Knox, Tilton, Nico, Ryker, Grayson, and Ezekiel. A pillar of strength and resilience, Sharon was deeply loved for her unwavering support of her family, love and acceptance for everyone, and her deep faith in Jesus. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and a cherished community member. Sharon’s life was a testament to her boundless love, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her spirit and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all.

A visitation will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Franklin Funeral Home and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Friday, August 16, 2024 and inurnment will directly follow at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Her honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
