Ruben "Killer" Martinez

Ruben “Killer” Martinez went into the loving arms of the Lord on Saturday, December 10, 2022 in Floresville, Texas. Ruben was a lifetime resident of Floresville and was born there to parents Teresa and Elpidio Martinez Sr. on May 15, 1952. He was a man of faith who left a lasting legacy of love and joy with everyone who knew him. Ruben was deeply proud of his community and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents. He is survived by his brothers, Nash Martinez and wife Gloria Martinez of Floresville, Texas and Elpidio Martinez Jr. and wife Susie Martinez of Floresville, Texas. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Nash Jr, Sandra, Roxanne, Andrea, Carmen, Dustin, Kyle, Demi, and Denise.

A visitation will be held at Franklin Funeral Home on December 19, 2022 at Franklin Funeral Home at 6:00 pm and will be followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on December 20, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
