Ronny Lee Slater

Ronny Lee Slater passed into his Eternal Rest on Thursday, July 13, 2023 in Clarendon, Texas at the age of 59 years old.  He was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to loving parents, Gloria and Raymond Slater on January 12, 1964.

Ronny is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Michelle Slater Meade.  He is survived by his beloved children, Krystal Stulgies and husband, Adam, of South Dakota and Sara Slater of Bulverde, Texas.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Emmett Stulgies, Rae Stulgies, Adalyne Cook, and Teegan Cook.  Ronny also leaves behind his siblings, Michael Slater and Danny Slater and wife, Katherine as well as his nephews, Travis Slater and wife, Samantha, Danson Slater, and Maximus Meade, and his great-nephew, James Slater.  He will also be forever remembered by his family in New Braunfels, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 8:30 am on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Franklin Funeral Home and a Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am.  Interment will be held at 11:30 am at Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Pallbearers will be Danny Slater, Travis Slater, Danson Slater, Adam Stulgies, Jeff Meade, and Maximus Meade.
