Ray Molina, Sr.

Ray Molina Sr. passed peacefully into his Eternal rest on July 24, 2024 at his home in Floresville, Texas at the age of 59 years old.  He was born on April 19, 1965 to parents, Inocencia and Oscar Molina Sr in Ballenger, Texas.  Ray was a longtime resident of both Floresville and Poth, Texas where he met the love of his life, Josie, and raised his beloved family.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Josie Molina, and his children, Ray Molina Jr. & Johnny Martinez, Destiny Molina & Philip Esquivel, and Veronica & Nicholas Quintanilla.  He will be fondly remembered by his step-mother, Maria Trevino, and his grandchildren, Haley Sanchez, Abraham Sanchez, Maddox Esquivel, Jayce Esquivel, Audrina Martinez, Alexander Quintanilla, Madison Martinez-Molina, and Damien Esquivel.  He also leaves behind his siblings, Oscar Molina Jr, Janie Villarreal, Sylvia Molina, Richard Molina, Norma & Sisto Sanchez, and Robert & Josie Trevino .  Ray will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends. His warmth, kindness, and the joy he brought into his family’s lives will always be cherished.

A visitation will be held at 5:30 pm on August 24, 2024 at Franklin Funeral Home and a Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 pm.
