Ramon “Ray” Valadez, Jr., passed into the loving arms of the Lord on November 25, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 44. He was born to his parents, Irene and Ramon Valadez, Sr., on January 2, 1981, in San Antonio, Texas, where he was born and raised. Ramon was a devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, and brother whose gentle spirit and steady presence were a blessing to everyone who knew him.
A talented carpenter, Ramon poured his heart into his work, making the world a more beautiful place, one project at a time. The dedication he brought to his craft was the same devotion he carried into his home, where he worked tirelessly, showed up unfailingly, and loved his family wholeheartedly.
Ramon was also a man of deep faith. He was a proud and active member of Floresville Christian Fellowship, attending faithfully with his wife and children. His church family was a true blessing to him, surrounding him with joy and walking with him in his faith. While his loss is felt profoundly, the warmth of his memory and the faith he lived by will continue to surround his family and friends with comfort.
Ramon was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Valadez, Sr., and his grandparents, Papi Valadez and Minerva Valadez. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Cynthia Brielle Valadez; his mother, Irene Valadez; and his beloved children, Kassandra Valdez (Angel), David Valadez (Anaisa), Destiny Valadez, Samson Valadez, Ryan Robles, and Travis Robles. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Lilliana Valdez and Sebastian Valdez, and his siblings, Monica Chavez and Vincent Valadez. Ramon truly touched the lives of all who were blessed to have known him, including his Floresville Christian Fellowship family and numerous extended family and friends.
To his wife, children, and grandchildren—who were his pride and joy—Ramon was known simply as “Love,” “Paps,” “Popo,” and “Gordo.” To his siblings, extended family, and friends, he was affectionately called “Baby Ray” and “Ray Ray.” Each name carried its own special meaning, reflecting the deep love, closeness, and joy he brought into the lives of everyone who knew him.
A visitation will be held at 6:00 pm on December 2, 2025, at Floresville Christian Fellowship, with a service to follow at 7:00 pm. The Valadez family would like to thank the community for their kind words, prayers, and for helping keep Ramon’s precious memories alive.
