Ramon "Ray" J. Aranda Jr.

Ramon “Ray” J. Aranda Jr. passed into his eternal rest on February 17, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 45 years old.  Ray was born in Floresville, Texas to Leslie Artman & Ramon B. Aranda on June 20, 1979.  Ray was a longtime resident of Floresville, though Port Huron, Michigan and San Marcos, Texas held a special place in his heart.  Wherever he called home though, he made sure to fill the space with warmth and laughter while raising his family with the love of his life, Leticia Aranda.  Whether he was tinkering under a hood, restoring a classic car, or making memories with his children, he did so with all of his heart and leaves behind a legacy of passion, hard work, and love.

Ray was preceded in death by his father, Ramon B. Aranda; his grandparents, Juan & Inez Aranda; and his cousin, Paul P. Guajardo.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Leticia Aranda; his mother, Leslie Artman; and his loving children, Ramon “Baby Ray” Aranda III and Liliana Rae Aranda.  He also leaves behind his siblings, Sonia Servantez and Adam Artman (Cindy), and his mother and father in law, Estella & Evaristo “Abe” Garcia.  Ray had a beautiful soul that will forever be remembered by all who were blessed to know him, including numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on February 24, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am.  A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am.  Interment will directly follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
