Paul “Dan” Hollingsworth passed into his eternal rest on April 21, 2026 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 75 years old. He was born on December 28, 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas to parents, Mildred Violet and Paul Delbert Hollingsworth.
Dan was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather who held his family close to his heart and lived life with an adventurous spirit that never faded. A true sailor, he found great peace and joy in his time spent on the water and was a proud member of the Lake Canyon Yacht Club. In his younger years, he honorably served his country in the United States Navy, carrying that sense of pride with him throughout his life. Dan was known for his great sense of humor and his love of sharing fun facts, often starting with “Did you know…”. He was a thoughtful and caring man who never missed a birthday, often calling to sing to those he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Violet and Paul Delbert Hollingsworth. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Lee Hollingsworth. He also leaves behind his children, Lisa Marie Fish (Christopher A.) and James Aron Hollingsworth (Tracey). Dan was a proud grandfather to Anthony Fish (Jenna), Megan Keathley, Justin Fish (Perla), Jonathan Moreno, Brittany Adams (David), Eric Moreno (Kayla Wagner), Samantha Parks, Ashlee Oropeza (Steven), Alexandra Weir (Anthony), and Daniel Hollingsworth. He was further blessed with numerous great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by his brother, William Hollingsworth (Delores), along with numerous nieces, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
A Memorial Service will be held at a date to be determined.
