Paisley Lynn
Korzekwa
Mar 26, 2025 — Aug 4, 2026
Paisley Lynn Korzekwa passed into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on March 26, 2025, in San Antonio to Amanda and Dustin Korzekwa.
From Paisley’s first breath, it was clear that she carried something remarkable within her tiny frame. She was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and quickly became a true Heart Warrior. She spent much of her short life at Children’s Methodist Hospital, where she and her parents were blessed to find a whole new community of support and love.
Again and again, when the days were hard and the road uncertain, Paisley fought her way through. She was brave, resilient, and incredibly strong, but those things were only a small part of the little girl everyone came to know and love.
Paisley was a force of joy in this world. She had a huge personality packed into one tiny little girl and a smile that could brighten even the hardest days. She could always be found with a smile and giggle. She knew exactly what she liked and was never afraid to let anyone know. Sweet, sassy, and full of personality, Paisley had a way of making people fall completely in love with her.
Although her time here was far too short, Paisley’s reach was extraordinary. Her journey touched people throughout her Kosciusko community, South Texas, and far beyond. Friends, family members, neighbors, and countless people who had never even met her followed her story, prayed for her, celebrated her victories, and rallied around her family. In her young life, Paisley taught so many people about courage, strength, love, and finding joy even in the smallest moments. She leaves behind an impact far greater than her tiny footprints could ever suggest.
Above all, Paisley was Amanda and Dustin’s precious baby girl and Ryker’s little sister. She was deeply loved every moment she was here, and that love does not end with goodbye. Her smiles, her giggles, her sass, and the joy she brought into this world will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Paisley was preceded in death by her grandparents, Julie Lynn Schulze and Stanley Frank Korzekwa; great-grandparents, Ronald and Betty Miller, Hermann and Madeline Schulze, Fridolin and Hulda (Treir) Reininger, and Stanik and Eugenia Korzekwa; and aunt, Tara Schulze.
She is survived by her loving parents, Amanda and Dustin Korzekwa; her brother, Ryker Stanley Korzekwa; and her grandparents, Larry Schulze and Betty Korzekwa. She will also be forever cherished by her aunts and uncles, Matthew Schulze and Alma Vela,, Laurie and Scott Semlinger, Duane Korzekwa and Wendy Volner, Stacie and Manuel Rodriguez, Darren and Stacy Korzekwa, and Tammie and Shawn Manning; numerous cousins; and the many extended family members, friends, and members of the community whose hearts became hers along the way.
Paisley’s family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Children’s Methodist Hospital. For so much of Paisley’s life, they cared for her, fought alongside her, celebrated her victories, and loved the sweet little girl behind the diagnosis.
