Olivia S. Seguin

Olivia S. Seguin passed into the loving arms of the Lord on October 18, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 92. She was born to her devoted parents, Adela and Margarito Salazar, on May 20, 1933, in Elmendorf, Texas. A lifelong resident of Elmendorf, Olivia built a beautiful life there alongside the love of her life, Albert R. Seguin, Sr., as they raised their family together with love and faith.

Olivia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who dedicated her life to her children and family. A woman of deep and steadfast faith, she was a devout Catholic and a cherished member of the St. Anthony Guadalupana Society, faithfully attending St. Anthony Catholic Church in Elmendorf. She will be lovingly remembered as a pillar of strength, compassion, and faith whose gentle spirit and kind heart uplifted all who knew her.

Olivia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert R. Seguin, Sr., and her son, John S. Seguin. She is survived by her loving children, Sandra S. Seguin, Albert R. Seguin, Jr., Norma Seguin-Tamez, Mariano Seguin, and Alex Seguin. Olivia’s unwavering faith and nurturing presence leave an enduring legacy in the hearts of her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A Rosary will be recited at 9:15 am on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Elmendorf, Texas and Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will directly follow at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
