Olivia Martinez

Olivia “Yaya” Martinez went into the loving arms of the Lord on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the age of 68 years old.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita Sanchez and Joe Vela as well as her siblings, Joe Vela Jr, Delores Vela, and Maria Vela.  She was also preceded by her grandson Christopher Lerma and her nephew Paul Hernandez.  Olivia was survived by her loving husband, Timothy Oliver of Stockdale, TX as well as her children Jeremy Martinez of Nixon, TX, Dolores Martinez of Stockdale, TX, and Stephanie Martinez of Stockdale, TX.  She was also survived by her siblings, Susie Earl and spouse Ronald Earl of Huntsville, Tx, Janie Valdez and spouse Adam Valdez of Stockdale, Tx, Diana Williams of Stockdale, Tx, and Pete Vela and spouse Stephanie Vela of Stockdale, Tx.  She will also be greatly loved and missed by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10:00 am at Franklin Funeral Home and a Funeral Service will be held directly after at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Pandora, TX.
