Olga Devora Sendejo

Olga Devora Sendejo passed into the loving arms of the Lord on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the age of 74.  Olga was a longtime resident of Floresville, Texas, where she was born to loving parents, Pedro and Maria Devora on November 11, 1948.  Olga was a beloved member of the community and took pride in making the world a more beautiful place, one haircut at a time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Maria Devora, her son, James Sendejo, and her grandson, Juan Miguel Guadalupe Sendejo.  She was also preceded by the father of her children, Guadalupe Sendejo Jr, and her siblings, Irene Garcia, Ernest Devora, and Juan Devora.  Olga is survived by her beloved children, Sammy Sendejo, Jeanette Sendejo Segura and husband Hector Jr, and Michael Sendejo.  She will also be dearly missed by her siblings, Irma Devora Palacios and Daniel Devora and wife Dolores.  Olga also leaves behind seven beautiful grandchildren and fifteen cherished great-grandchildren.  She left a mark on everyone she met, and will forever be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am.  Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am and interment will directly follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.  On behalf of the Sendejo family and the staff at Franklin Funeral Home, we thank the community for the outpouring of love and support at the loss of such a pillar in the community.  In lieu of flowers, the Sendejo Family would like to request donations be made in Olga’s honor to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Reconstruction Fund.
