Miguel Lionel Gomez passed into his eternal rest on February 6, 2025 in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 88. He was born in Floresville, Texas to loving parents, Antonia Barrera & Eddie Gomez on November 23, 1937.

Miguel loved his family deeply and valued time spent with them. He worked for many years as a truck driver and took pride in his work. He also owned a bar, where he poured his heart and soul into his business and the people who came through its doors.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lillie Gomez; his parents, Antonia Barrera & Eddie Gomez; and his niece, Belinda Castro Gomez. He is survived by his brother, Ismael Gomez and his wife, Olivia. He also leaves behind his nieces, Brenda G. Ramos, Rebecca Lucio, and Jessica Cardenas (Andrew). Miguel truly touched all of those who had the honor of knowing him, including a large extended family and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, where family and friends will be invited to gather in his memory.
