Mary Ella Perez

Mary Ella Perez passed into the loving arms of the Lord on October 22, 2024 in her Floresville, Texas home at the age of 78 years old.  She was born to loving parents, Simón & Aurora Peña in Floresville on December 21, 1945.   Mary was a lifetime resident of Floresville, Texas, where she raised her beautiful children.  Her dedication to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was unwavering and her love for life set an example for all who knew her.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Simón & Aurora Peña; her children, Alejandro Perez & Baby Sonya Perez; her grandchildren, Nerfitrie Acevedo & Ezra Perez; and her siblings, Pauline Martinez & Aurora Estrada.  She is survived by her partner, Marcelino Mata, and her beloved children, Cynthia De Leon (Joe), Gilbert Perez (Margarita), Lorenzo Perez, Rita Orosco, and Alma Acevedo.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Delilah Perez (Jesse Flores), Alejandro Lee Perez, Donna Perez (Robert Ramirez Jr), Joshua Perez (Krystal), Chezare Perez (Erica), Desiree Perez, Emerick Perez (Alexis), Sephrah Cervantez (Rick), Damian Perez (Kennedy), Tina Perez, Hunter Perez, Elida Perez, Genesis Vasquez, Bianca Closna (Riley), Blanca Perez, Savanah Alvarado (Gary), Sasha Orosco, Samantha Vidal (Rene), Junior Acevedo, Exodus Acevedo, and Faith Acevedo.  Mary will also be fondly remembered by her great grandchildren, Leviticus, D’leh, ZAriyah, Abcde, Joshua, Jordan, Kayleigh-May, Urijah, Andre, Chezare Jr, Roman, Araceli, Aliza, Alejandro Lee Jr, Ezmerie, Anastasia, Santana, Robert III, Nazareth, Serenity, Desmond, Drayden, Jace, Jarrett, Jake, Jonathan, Declan, Claire, Jake Ryan, Isaiah, Meeko, Aaron, Emerick, Nevaeh, Donivan, Samantha, Kyleigh, Kaylee, and Carson.  She also leaves behind her siblings, Simón Peña Jr (Theresa), Rosa Sanchez, and Ruben Peña (Sylvia).  Mary truly left a mark on all who knew her and will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 6:00 pm on October 29, 2024 at Franklin Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on October 30, 2024 at Franklin Funeral Home.  Interment will directly follow at the Floresville City Cemetery.  Pallbearers include: Dez, Emerick, Bianca, Tina, Jr, and Damian.   Honorary Pallbearers include: Sephrah, Faith, Sasha, Samantha, Savannah, Delilah, and Donna.
