Mary S. Morales

Mary S. Morales passed into her Eternal rest on September 28, 2023 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 85 years old.  She was born in Denhawken, Texas to loving parents, Josefina and Nicanor Silva on May 15, 1938.  She was a lifetime resident of Floresville, Texas, where she dedicated her life to raising her beloved children and earning accolades in her career, where she exemplified hard work and dedication.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Richard Morales Sr.  She was also preceded by her daughter, Mary Ellen Morales, and her siblings, Reyes, Carmen, Adela, Eva, Luis, Juan, George, and Nick Jr.  Mary is survived by her son, Rick “Richard” Morales Jr of Floresville, Texas and her brother, Clem C. Silva Sr and wife, Sharon.  She also leaves behind her sister-in-law’s, JoAnn Trevino, Olivia Rodriguez, Corina Morales, Petra Silva, and Cruz Silva as well as her brother-in-law, Rudy Orosco Sr.  Mary will forever be fondly remembered for leaving a legacy of family, faith and love by numerous nieces , nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Mary’s afterlife care was entrusted to Franklin Funeral Home and the Morales family would like to thank their staff and the community for their support in honoring Mary’s memory.  A great debt of gratitude is also owed to the Advance Home Health staff: Laura, Crystal, Virginia, and Ben and the New Century Hospice staff: Mary, Andres, Andrea, Rey and Chaplin Alfonso.  These individuals have shown devotion and kindness by loving  and caring for Mary in her final days and her loved ones will forever be grateful to them.
