Marjorie Lois Postert Burk

Marjorie Lois Postert Burk passed into her Eternal Rest on March 13, 2024 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 65 years old.  She was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 15, 1958 to loving parents, Lionel & Shirley Postert.  Marjorie was a lifetime resident of Floresville, Texas where she raised her family.  Marjorie dedicated her life to helping her community in both the healthcare field and by opening her home and her heart to anyone and everyone who needed a safe haven and a smile.  Marjorie lovingly referred to her guests as her “babies'' and she truly and deeply cared for each and every one of them.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Lionel & Shirley Postert, her ex-husband, Raymond Burk, her step-son, Louis Courvier, and her son-in-law, Ted Flores III.  She is survived by her husband, Robert M. Courvier, and her beloved children, Chasity Doege (Jason), Lizette Burk (Bruce), Katrina Bartlett (Jason), Stephanie Flores, Kimberly Courvier, Angelica Courvier, and step-sons, Robert Courvier Jr, and Jesse Courvier.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Justin, Colten, & Cheyenne Doege, Dakota Hastings, Avrial Burk, Ian Bartlett, Faye & Paige Flores, and Shirley Romero.  She will also be forever cherished by her siblings, Lionel Christopher Postert, Jacqueline Burk (Frank), and Peggy Arriaga (Tino).  Marjorie truly touched the lives of everyone she met and will be forever missed by all of her babies, family, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on April 13, 2024 at Floresville Christian Fellowship (628 Blue Bonnet N, Floresville, Texas 78114).  The Burk/Courvier family would like to thank the community for their kind words and help in keeping Marjorie’s beautiful memories alive.
