Maria T. Garza-Villarreal

Maria T. Garza-Villarreal passed into her eternal rest of July 25, 2025 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 63.  She was born to loving parents, Susie & Manuel Garza on November 21, 1961 in Floresville, where she was born and raised.  Maria was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who loved fiercely and filled every room with her warmth and strength.  She was also a woman of Faith and proud congregate of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Susie & Manuel Garza, and her brother, Manuel Garza Jr.  She is survived by her beloved children, Marisela Garza-Villarreal, Albert Garza-Villarreal Jr. (Emily Hall-Villarreal), and Hope Garza-Villarreal as well as her bonus son, Joe “BJ” Villarreal.  She also leaves behind her grandson, Zebastian Villarreal; her sister, Virginia Garza-Villarreal (Delfino); and her former husband, Albert Villarreal.  Maria will be deeply missed by all those who knew her, especially her nieces and nephews, Nina Garza-Villarreal, Crystal Garza-Villarreal, Tommy Garza, Victoria Garza, Rebecca Garza, Edward Rangel-Villarreal, and numerous other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on August 7, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a Rosary will be celebrated at 10:30 am.  A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am and interment will directly follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
