Marcus Flores Olivo Sr.

Marcus Flores Olivo Sr. passed into his Eternal rest on June 14, 2024 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 46 years old.  Marcus was born to loving parents Mateo & Nancy Olivo on October 10, 1977 in Floresville, Texas, where he was born and raised. Marcus was a lifetime resident of Floresville, where he raised his family and helped the community, one rooftop and jobsite at a time.  He was also a man of Faith and active member of the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church in Poth, Texas.  Marcus had a personality as big as Texas and  truly touched the lives of every person he met, spreading a sense of joy and laughter all along the way.

Marcus was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jose & Cedelia Flores and Pablo Sr. & Juanita Olivo.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Hannah Olivo; his parents, Mateo & Nancy Olivo; and his children, Marcus Allen Olivo Jr. and wife, Brianna, and Ariana Hestermann and husband, Cody.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Greyson Olivo, Jaxson Olivo, Achilles Hestermann, and Morgan Hestermann.  Marcus will be forever missed by his siblings, Michael Olivo and wife, Hilda, and Mandy Olivo.  He will also be forever cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 6:00 pm at Franklin Funeral Home on June 21, 2024 and a service will begin at 7:00 pm.  A funeral service will begin at 10:00 am on June 22, 2024 at Emmanuel Assembly of God Church in Poth, Texas.  Interment will directly follow at Emmanuel Assembly of God Cemetery.
