Lupita F. Guerra

Lupita F. Guerra passed into her Eternal rest on June 5, 2024 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 67 years old.  She was born in Floresville to loving parents, Jose & Lucia Guerra on December 19, 1956.  Lupita was a lifelong resident of Floresville, Texas where she raised her beloved son, though she was affectionately known as “Mom” to many of the children of Floresville.  Her kindness and outpouring of love will forever be a memory to all who knew her.

Lupita was preceded in death by her parents, Jose & Lucia Guerra; her siblings, Henry “Chanta” Guerra, Joe “Yogi” Guerra, and Mary Lou “Luca” Guerra; her brother-in-law, Abel M. Quintanilla; and her mother-in-law, Beatrice Quintanilla.  She is survived by her Son, Joe Quintanilla and her honorary children, Brian Pollok, Nicholas Acosta, Kyle Cordes, Devin Galarneau, and Jeff Dickinson.  Lupita had an infectious smile that love for life that will forever be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 9:30 am on June 29, 2024 at Franklin Funeral Home and a Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am.  Interment will directly follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
