Linda Almendarez-Laijas

Linda Almendarez-Laijas passed into her eternal rest on August 1, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 59.  She was born on December 20, 1965 in San Antonio to Angelita Morales & Rolando Almendarez.  Linda was a longtime resident of both Floresville, Texas and Stockdale, Texas where she raised her beloved children.  Above all, she was deeply loved by her family. Their memories of her will continue to be a source of comfort, and their love will remain a lasting tribute to her life.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Angelita Morales and Rolando Almendarez, and her siblings, Pasqual Almendarez, Ricky Pantoja, and Robert Morales.  She is survived by her children, Priscilla Laijas (Ann), Joe-Ricky DeLeon (Mateo), Abbygail Martina Morales, Rosalinda DeLeon, and Violet Hernandez (Maria).  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ebani Marlene Flores, Madelyn Carlota Flores, Kynzli Faith Flores, Kyli Grace Flores, Jaemi Prudencia Flores, Kailey Jacobson, and Yulema Ski Escallneo.  Linda will be forever remembered by her siblings, Rosa Morales, Diana Albagaria, Sylvia DeLeon, Jose Morales, and Roland Almendarez Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held on August 28, 2025 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Stockdale, Texas.  A fellowship meal will directly follow at the First Baptist Church and everyone is invited to join together in honoring Linda’s life and sharing her beautiful memories.
