Leland E. Brown Sr.

Leland Eugene Brown, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in San Antonio at the age of 88 years 2 months 5 days. He was born on June 11, 1935 in San Antonio to George Leland & Pauline Burleson Brown. Leland was a lifetime resident of San Antonio. He was a Mason for 64 Years belonging to both the Floresville Masonic Lodge and the Highland Hills Masonic Lodge.

Leland was preceded in death by his Parents;  Wife, Patsy O'Neil Brown; Brothers, Sonny Brown, Alan Brown & Anthony Brown. He is survived by his Wife, Frances Starnes of San Antonio;  Children, Leland Brown, Jr. of San Antonio, Debra & husband, Ricky Ashby of Menard, James & wife, Brenda Brown of Bandera, David & wife, Sharon Brown of San Antonio; Siblings, Geraldine Ellis of San Antonio, Vernon & wife, Barbara Brown, Daryl Brown, all of Floresville, Dana & wife, Donna Brown of Bryan; 15 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. in Franklin Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. in Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Albert Byrom officiating. Interment will follow in Floresville Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard King, Jimmy King, Santana Montez, Donald Brown, Tommy Stadler, Rex Miller, John Hale & David Keith; Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Fuller, Leo Broom & Jesse Ramos.
