Laurie Ann Wollny Reusink, age 56, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on February 17, 2026
Laurie was a woman with a generous heart and a deep love for those around her. She found joy in caring for her animals, lending a hand with farm projects, and always being there for her family whenever she was needed. Helping others came naturally to her, and she gave her time and energy selflessly.
Above all else, Laurie cherished her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in the life she built and the love she shared with them.
Laurie is survived by her beloved husband, Greg Reusink; her father, Edward Wollny; her son, Ryan Lurker and his wife Mindy; her stepsons, Jared Reusink and his wife Ashley, and Bryce Reusink and his wife Elaine; and her grandchildren, Fen Lurker, Amberlee Reusink, Caroline Reusink, Rory Reusink, and Ellie Reusink. She is also survived by her brother, Larry Wollny and his wife Yolanda; her sister, Lisa Roberts; her nephews, Jack and Sam Roberts; her niece, Ximena Muniz; and her cousin Cindy, who was more like a sister to her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gracie Wollny.
Laurie will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to her family, and the quiet strength and love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A rosary will be held in honor of Laurie and her beloved granddaughter, Fae, at Franklin Funeral Home on Thursday, February 26, 2026, with visitation starting at 5:00 pm and the rosary recited at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic church at 10:30 am on Friday, February 27, 2026 and interment will directly follow at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery.
