Keiko Esparza

Keiko Esparza passed away on October 16, 2024 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 89 years old.  She was born in Tokyo, Japan to loving parents Harue Oyama Hakamata & Toyotaro Hakamata on January 15, 1935.  Keiko spent her early years in Japan, but found her way to Texas with her beloved husband, Ysabel Esparza.

Keiko was preceded in death by her husband, Ysabel Esparza; her parents, Harue Oyama Hakamata & Toyotaro Hakamata, and her brother, Michigu Hakamata.  She is survived by her siblings, Michiyo Knutson (Leroy) of San Antonio, Texas, Takako Moromisato (Richard) of Pearl City, Hawaii, Misao Watanabe of Japan, Ryoko Rokkau (Kenzo) of Japan, and Hirofumi Hakamata (Tokiko) of Japan.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on October 29, 2024 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
