Julia Robles Martinez

Julia Robles Martinez passed into the loving arms of the Lord on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 93 years old.  She was born to Eufracia Robles in Fairview, Texas on May 5, 1930, where she was raised by her beloved grandparents, Aniceto & Calistra Robles.  Julia was a proud resident of Floresville, Texas where she was active in the El Mesias United Methodist Church and was a member of the El Mesias United Methodist Women.

Julia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Aniceto & Calistra Robles, her mother, Eufracia Robles, and the love of her life, her husband, Edward Garza Martinez.  She was also preceded by her grandson, Kenny Martinez, and her sister, Elvira Robles Perez.  Julia is survived by her cherished children, Barbara Morales and husband, Jerome, Elizabeth Lopez and husband, Orlando, Edward Martinez Jr and wife, Eloisa, David Martinez and wife, Dolores, John Martinez and wife, Asano, Albert Martinez and wife, Aurora.  She is also survived by her sister, Janie G. Medina and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.  Julia leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, faith, and family and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at 9:30 am on Monday, July 3, 2023 at El Mesias United Methodist Church and a funeral service will be held at 10:00 am.  Interment will directly follow at Floresville City Cemetery.  Pallbearers will include Anthony Martinez, Joel Morales, Eddie Martinez III, Jonathan Martinez, Orlando Lopez Jr, and Marcelino Lopez.  Honorary Pallbearers are Joseph Martinez, Nick Martinez, and Joshua Lopez.
