Juan Hinojosa

Juan Hinojosa entered into his eternal rest on October 6, 2025, in his hometown of Floresville, Texas, at the age of 79. Born on February 26, 1946, Juan spent his life surrounded by the family and community he dearly loved. He was the rock of his family, a steady source of strength, compassion, and love. A devoted husband, caring father, and beloved grandfather and great-grandfather, Juan’s presence will be forever treasured and deeply missed.

Juan was preceded in death by his wife, Serafina Hinojosa; his children, Juan Hinojosa Jr. and Patricia Herrera-Hinojosa; his grandson, Aiden Gianni Hinojosa; and his grandfather, Teo Hinojosa. He is survived by his loving children, Michael Hinojosa and Rudy Hinojosa and his wife, Sandra. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Bethany Hinojosa, John Hinojosa, Ryan Hinojosa, Cristian Hinojosa, Ashley Hinojosa, Patrick Hinojosa, Hailey Hinojosa, and Aliza Hinojosa, and his great-grandchildren, Ryan Rudy “RJ” Hinojosa, Troy Louis Hinojosa, Kylo Hinojosa, Patrick “PJ” Hinojosa Jr. He will also be fondly remembered by his sister, MaryJane Mata. Juan truly touched the lives of all who knew him and he will be forever cherished by numerous family and friends.

A Visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Franklin Funeral Home and a Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 am.  Inurnment will directly follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
