Obituary

Joe F. Ximenez passed away at his home on Sunday, August 23, 2026 in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 79. He was born on November 12, 1946, in Wilson County, to David Ximenez Sr. and Beatrice Flores Ximenez.

Joe began his education as a member of the Lodi school district where he attended for several years. As his sons were growing up, you would either find Joe coaching Floresville Little League or active on the field playing for the Knights of Columbus and the legendary Bud Kings. Joe then briefly served as a Deputy under Sheriff Tackitt. In the community, he served on the Wilson County Memorial Hospital Board, Floresville Independent School District (FISD) school board, contributed employment at the City of Floresville and Richardson Brothers. He later ended his employment career as Municipal Judge for the City of Floresville prior to retirement.

Gonzales (Cleto), Elia X. Castro (Eligio), Julia X. Aranda (Alejos), Alicia Trevino (Salvador); and granddaughter, Baby Crystal Ximenez. He is survived by his wife, Gloria R.
