Joe M. Sauceda

Joe M. Sauceda, 88, of Floresville, Texas, passed away on April 25, 2024. He was born on April 1, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas. Joe, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was known for his happy and caring personality. He had a childlike spirit, always finding joy in making others laugh and seeing the bright side of life.

Joe proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to his country. He worshiped at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, finding solace and community in his faith.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Sauceda, his son Raymond Sauceda, his daughter Evelyn Sauceda, grandchildren Kammy (Cody) King, Tiffany Kerns, Meagan Kerns, Tyler Riley, Elizabeth (Casey) Reinhard, Zachary Riley, Raymond JR (Esme) Sauceda, & Catherine Sauceda, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many others. Joe was preceded in death by his biological parents Adolpho & Maria Sauceda, Charlie & Antonia Cuneo who raised him, siblings Adela (Lala), Adolpho, Vincente, Antonia and great-grandson Matthew King.

A service will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, located at 16505 Kilowatt Rd, Elmendorf, TX 78112, on May 1, 2024 with a viewing from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Rosary from 10:30 AM to 11 AM, and Mass at 11 AM. Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville, Texas, is assisting with the funeral arrangements. Joe's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
