Joe Daniel Quintanilla Sr.

Joe Daniel “Boogie” Quintanilla Sr passed into his Eternal rest on Monday, March 20, 2023 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 60 years old.  He was a lifetime resident of Floresville, Texas and was born there on February 10, 1963 to loving parents, Betty Jean and Juan Quintanilla Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his beloved children, Joe Daniel “J.D.” Jr Quintanilla and his wife Chelsea of Seguin, Texas, and Danielle Jean Quintanilla of Floresville, Texas.  He will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Avery Sue Quintanilla and Tessa Marie Quintanilla.  Joe also leaves behind his siblings, Mary Helen Cabrera and husband Lucas of New Braunfels, Texas, John Quintanilla Jr and his wife Irene of Floresville, Texas, and Nancy Ann Quintanilla of New Braunfels, Texas.  He truly left a mark on everyone he met and will be forever cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Franklin Funeral Home at 6:00 pm.  A Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm and a private interment will be held at a later date.
