Joe "Gordo" De La Fuentes Jr.

Joe "Gordo" De La Fuentes Jr. passed into his Eternal rest on September 30, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 63 years old.  He was born to loving parents, Lilly and Joe De La Fuentes Sr. on February 28, 1960 in Jourdanton, Texas.  His love for his family & his love for Harley Davidsons motorcycles were #1.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Evangeling “Vangie” Gonzales.  He is survived by his partner in life, Crystal Rodriguez and his siblings, Sarah Hernandez (Joe), Sylvia Pena (Ruben), Mary Helen Barrera (Joe), and Josie Aguilar.  He also leaves behind his aunt, Pauline Flores as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am and a Funeral Mass will celebrated at 11:00 am.  Interment will directly follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
