Jerry L. Travieso

Jerry L. Travieso passed into his eternal rest on September 27, 2025 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 67. He was born to Elida & Joe S. Travieso, Jr. on January 29, 1958 in Jourdanton, Texas. Jerry took pride in his south Texas community and skillfully used his hands to make it a better place. As a talented plumber and welder, he built a career grounded in hard work, honesty, and service to others. Before building his life’s work in his community, Jerry honorably served his country as a United States Marine. The discipline, loyalty, and courage he learned in the military remained central to who he was throughout his life.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Elida & Joe S. Travieso, Jr., and his siblings, Sandra Trejo and Arthur Travieso. He is survived by his siblings, Judy Travieso-Hagar, Joe Travieso III (Tina), and Laura Herrera (Alfred).

A funeral service will be held at a date to be determined.
