Isaac A. Rodriguez

Isaac Ayala Rodriguez passed into the loving arms of the Lord on January 19, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 71 years old.  He was born to loving parents, Elena & Jesus Rodriguez on September 5, 1952 in Monterrey, Nuevo León México.  Isaac was a man of Faith who dedicated his life to the service of others.  He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and after his time in the United States military ended, he continued to serve his country and community as a 25 year veteran of the San Antonio Police Department.  Isaac leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and integrity.

Isaac was preceded in death by his parents, Elena & Jesus Rodriguez, and his siblings, Joselina Rodriguez, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Lydia Rodriguez, Elisa Galdeano, Jesus Mario Rodriguez, and Gerardo Rodriguez.  Isaac is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and his children, Maria Isabel Steele (Michael), Zulema Barnes, Azalia Spenceley (Colby), and Angelica McCoy (Bryan).  He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Isaac Michael, McKenzie Pre, & Sammy Austin Steele, William Robert, Lillian Rose, James Dolan, & Tomas Joshua Barnes, and Camila Capri Spenceley.  Isaac will also be forever remembered by his siblings, Armando Rodriguez (Maria de los Angeles de Rodriguez) and Yolanda Ojeda, as well as by numerous family and friends.

A visitation will be held at  10:00 am on January 31, 2024 at St. Luke, Loire Catholic Church in Pleasanton, Texas.  A rosary will be recited at 11:00 am and mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am.  Interment will directly follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
