Gregorio Solorzano Soto

Gregorio Solorzano Soto passed into his Eternal rest on Monday, June 26, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas with his beloved family by his side.  Gregorio was a longtime resident of Floresville, Texas, but was born in Durango Mexico on May 9, 1967 to loving parents, Gerardo & Gudalupe Soto.

Gregorio was preceded in death by his father, Gerardo Soto, and his brother, Valente Soto.  He is survived by his mother, Gudalupe Solorzano Soto and his beloved children, Brenda Jimenez & husband, Andres and David Soto and wife, Briana Vela.  He will also be forever cherished by his grandchildren, Gabriel Soto, Andres Jimenez, Jasmine Jimenez, and Isaac Jimenez.  He is also survived by his siblings, David Soto, Anna Soto, Ysenia Soto, and Gerardo Soto.  Gregorio also leaves behind his best friend, Juan “Machete” Nunez and his former wife, Isabel Soto.

A visitation will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Franklin Funeral Home.  A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 am and Interment will directly follow at the Floresville City Cemetery.  Pallbearers will include his son David Soto,  his brother, David Soto, and friends and family, Juan Nunez, Gerardo Soto, Andres Jiminez, and Gabriel Soto.
