Gloria P. Ximenez

Gloria P. Ximenez passed into the loving arms of the Lord in her Floresville, Texas home on November 28, 2024 at the age of 85 years old.  She was born to loving parents, Jesus and Magdalena Perez on June 22, 1939.   Gloria was a lifelong resident of Floresville, Texas where she raised her family.  She was a beloved member of the community and served the people of South Texas as a CNA at the San Antonio State Hospital until her retirement.  She was also a woman of faith and a proud member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Guadalupana Society.  She truly leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, service, and love.

Gloria is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David F. Ximenez Jr; her parents, Jesus & Magdalena Perez; her grandson, Jesse “Red” Ximenez; and her brothers, Eloy Perez, Manuel Perez, and Jesse Perez.  She is survived by her loving children, Tony Ximenez Sr (Christina), Jesse Ximenez (Sandra), Magdalena Serna (Steve Guerrero), and Debbie Busanet.  She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  Gloria will be forever remembered by her brother Andy Perez, and her brother-in-law, Joe F. Ximenez (Gloria).  Gloria left a mark on everyone she knew and she will always be cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Cemetery on Thursday, December 5, 2024.  The Ximenez family would like to thank the community for the outpouring of support and for help in keeping Gloria’s beautiful memories alive.
