Florence “Flo” Jaskinia, of Stockdale, Texas, passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 88. She was born on May 25, 1938, in Kosciusko, Texas, to Stanley Anton Peter Jaskinia and Margaret “Maggie” Martha Laskowski Jaskinia. Flo was a longtime resident of Stockdale, Texas where she built a life and home.

Flo was a sweet and familiar presence to those who knew her and found happiness in the simple things. She loved to laugh and especially enjoyed watching The Price Is Right and playing bingo. She had a special love for animals, particularly cats, and everyone knew that red was her color. Flo also liked to look her best, from her signature tight perm to the watch that was always carefully matched to what she was wearing. Above all, she cherished spending time with the people she loved.

Flo was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Anton Peter Jaskinia and Margaret “Maggie” Martha Laskowski Jaskinia; her lifelong companion, Floyd J. “Cutie” Shaw; her siblings, Mary Magdelene Jaskinia, Lambert Dennis Jaskinia, and Regina Sefrina Jaskinia; and her caretaker, Lois Marie Shaw.

She is survived by those who became family to her, Donald Roy and Rebecca Wolfe, Desirey Wolfe, and Cheyenne Wolfe Lamar and husband Rodney. She also leaves behind her nephews, B. James Jaskinia and wife Lynda and David Jaskinia and wife Anita, along with several great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nephews. Flo will also be fondly remembered by extended family and friends whose kindness, companionship, and care filled her years.

A graveside service will be held at Stockdale City Cemetery at a date to be determined.
