Fidencio "Fidi" Hernandez

Fidencio “Fidi” Hernandez passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 60. He was born to loving parents, Carmin & Geronimo Hernandez, Sr., on November 16, 1965 in San Antonio, Texas. Fidi was a lifelong resident of Floresville, Texas and a treasured member of the Hernandez family. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle, whose gentle spirit brought joy to everyone around him. Fidi loved drawing flowers, often creating special pieces of artwork for his siblings that they cherish to this day. His collection of stuffed animals was another great comfort to him, each one a small source of joy throughout his life. Fidi also had a love for the Lord and held steadfast to his Catholic faith. Above all, Fidi will be remembered for the light he brought to the world and the love he shared so freely.

Fidi was preceded in death by his parents, Carmin & Geronimo Hernandez, Sr., and his siblings, Geronimo Hernandez, Jr. and Josefita Reyes. He is survived by his beloved siblings, Teresa Vidal (Ramiro Vidal, Jr.), Isabella Meis (Craig Meis), Susie Griego (Robert Garcia), and Francisco Hernandez (Michele Hernandez). Fidi also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on December 4, 2025 and a rosary will be recited at 10:30 am. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and interment will directly follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
