Fabian Waclawczyk passed into his eternal rest on June 11, 2026, in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 90. He was born on February 6, 1936, in Kosciusko, Texas, to Ignatz and Annie Waclawczyk.
Fabian was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. A lifelong rancher and farmer, he found great pride and satisfaction in caring for his cattle and working the land he loved. He was happiest outdoors, whether tending to his ranch, hunting deer, or simply enjoying the beauty of God's creation. Fabian was also a man of deep faith and a devoted member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Mary Waclawczyk; his parents, Annie and Ignatz Waclawczyk; and his siblings, Vincent Waclawczyk and Florence Jaskinia. He is survived by his children, Jeff Waclawczyk (Leona) and David Waclawczyk (Nancy). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Kelly Erwin (Jason), Jeffrey Waclawczyk (Austynn), Derek Waclawczyk, Lauren Beattie (Chris), and John Waclawczyk. Fabian was blessed with great-grandchildren Kamryn and Karter Erwin; JJ and Abi Waclawczyk; and Layla, Luke, Levi, Lilie, and Lucy Beattie. He is also survived by his brother, Adrian Waclawczyk, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members, and a multitude of friends who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held at 5:00 pm on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Franklin Funeral Home. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Entombment at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery will directly follow.
The Waclawczyk family would like to thank the staff of Prairie Meadows Healthcare Facility and Trinity Hospice for the excellent and kindhearted care they extended to their father.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Waclawczyk, Derek Waclawczyk, Jason Erwin, Chris Beattie, Chance Childress, and Elton Childress.
