Eusebio "Herbie" Garcia

March 5, 1932 — March 22, 2024

Eusebio “Herbie” Garcia passed into his Eternal rest on March 22, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 92 years old.  He was born to loving parents, Anecleto & Herlinda Garcia in Saspamco, Texas.  Eusebio was a proud United States Air Force veteran, serving in both the Korean War and in Vietnam.  His time in the service allowed him to travel the world, but he always returned back home to Floresville, Texas, where he raised a family with the love of his life, Hortensia Garcia.

Eusebio was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hortensia Garcia, and his son, Gerard Garcia.  He was also preceded by his parents, Anecleto & Herlinda Garcia, his granddaughter, Rachel Garcia, and his siblings, Mike Garcia, Alice Terrel, Anacleto Garcia Jr, Cesar Garcia, Tony Garcia, and Vacho Garcia.  He is survived by his son, Juan Garcia and daughter-in-law, Lizeth, as well as his grandchildren, Arline Garcia, Kimberly Garcia, and Jonathan Garcia.  He also leaves behind his siblings Linda Laijas, Florence Cantu, Fred Garcia, and Salome Sanchez.  Eusebio truly touched the lives of all who knew him and will be forever missed by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in Shelter #4 in San Antonio, Texas on April 3, 2024.
