Eugene Jerome Jarzombek

Eugene Jerome Jarzombek of Floresville, Texas, passed away on Ash Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on April 4, 1942, in Poth, Texas, to Henry and Mary Krawietz Jarzombek, Gene was the youngest child in his family. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and dedicated 30 years of his career to Friedrich Air Conditioning Co. before retiring.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Ephrem and Albert Jarzombek, and his sisters Elizabeth Gembler and Joyce Moczygemba. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorena Riley Jarzombek, his sister Lillian Kotzur and her husband Stanley, and his cherished grandchildren Richard, Kevin, Rodney, and Ryan Taylor. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews in the South Texas area.

A Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Franklin Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Karnes City Cemetery. The Jarzombek family extends their gratitude to the community for their kind words and support in keeping Eugene’s memories alive.
