Estella E. Alfaro passed into the loving arms of the Lord on November 17, 2025 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 74. She was born to Refugia “Cuca” Jaramillo-Treviño and Cipriano Espinoza on June 3, 1951 in Floresville, Texas, where she was born and raised. Estella was a proud lifelong resident of Floresville, Texas and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Estella was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a beloved sister, and a friend to all who were blessed to know her. She was also known for her skill in the kitchen, and her home cooked meals were a source of comfort and warmth for those she loved.
Estella was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tony Alfaro; her parents, Refugia “Cuca” Jaramillo-Treviño, Felix Narvez, and Cipriano Espinoza; her daughter, Iris Barrera; her granddaughter, Bailey Alfaro, and her nephew, Tony P. Alfaro. She is survived by her loving sons, Roland Alfaro and Mark Alfaro. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Roland Alfaro, Jr., Manuel Alfaro, Brianna Alfaro, Gabriella Barrera, Robert Barrera, Mark Alfaro, Jr., Demi Alfaro, Eric Pardo, Carly Alfaro, and Aliyah Barrera, and numerous great-grandchildren. Estella will also be forever cherished by her siblings, Manuel Espinoza, Lydia Treviño (Ruben), Connie Treviño, Diana Resendez (Benny), Sandra Treviño Ontero (Jacob), and Victor Treviño, and her son-in-law, “Pato” Robert Barrera. Estella’s memory will be lovingly held in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A visitation will be held at 5:00 pm on November 24, 2025 at Franklin Funeral Home and a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on November 25, 2025. Interment will directly follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
