Dennis Joe Acosta

Dennis Joe Acosta passed away peacefully in his Pleasanton, Texas home on August 17, 2025 at the age of 72.  He was born to loving parents, Esther & Adolph Acosta, on September 10, 1952 in Floresville, Texas where he was born and raised.  Dennis was a simple man who loved his family and his country. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, carrying with him a lifelong sense of honor, duty, and loyalty.  He will be fondly remembered for his quiet strength, his devotion to those he loved, and the steady way he lived his life.

Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Acosta; his parents, Esther & Adolph Acosta; his son, Dennis Acosta Jr.; and his sister, Annie Rocamontes.  He is survived by his adoring children, Jennifer Acosta and Michael McMahan, and his grandchildren, Icis Acosta Certain, Elijha Saldaña, Kai Acosta, and Valor Charles McMahan.  He also leaves behind his sister, Sophie Gluchowski, and cousin, Steve Acosta.

The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of kind words, prayers, and support from friends and the community during this time. His life will be celebrated in the quiet moments and cherished memories shared by his family.
