David Richard Abrego Sr

David Richard Abrego, age 77, was welcomed into the loving arms of Our Lord on July 7, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Trinidad Abrego, daughter: Nadine/Gary Crosswell,  son: David Richard Abrego, Jr./Christine, daughter: Pauline/Brandan Segura, his ten grandchildren. Brothers: Diego/Barbara Abrego, Rene/Lee Abrego, Reynaldo Abrego, Fidel Abrego, & Victor/Bianca Abrego. Stepsons: Alfredo Garza/Adolph Jimenez.  Preceded in death: father: Trinidad, mother: Blanca, brother:  Adrian & sister: Blanca Linda Abrego.

For 22 years he resided in Floresville, was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Church, served as usher, lector, was President of the St. Vincent De Paul Society, belonged to the Pastoral Council, and was a member of Knight of Columbus. Serving the Lord in any capacity was his ultimate goal.

A visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am and interment will directly follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
