Christine Lopez Bowles

Christine Lopez Bowles passed into her eternal rest on May 7, 2025 in Floresville, Texas at the age of 68.  She was born to Erna & Tony Lopez in Denver, Colorado on December 12, 1956.  Christine was a longtime resident of San Antonio, Texas, but spent her later years near family in Floresville, Texas.  Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her.

Christine is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe “JR” Rodriguez, and her parents, Erna & Tony Lopez.  She is survived by her loving children, Jason Bowles (Lisa) and Sarah Bowles-Perales (Chris).  Christine also leaves behind her grandchildren, Dustin Bowles, Raustin Bowles, Christopher Perales, and Emma Perales.  Christine’s love and warmth will be forever remembered by her sister, Cecelia Cissy Lopez-Vickers, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.  The Bowles family would like to thank everyone for their support and help in keeping Christine’s beautiful memories alive.
