Bobby Henry

Bobby Henry passed into his eternal rest in his Elmendorf, Texas home on September 1, 2024 at the age of 61 years old.  He was born to loving parents, Mary Ellen and Bob Henry in St. Louis, Missouri on December 26, 1962.  Bobby spent his early years in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, but in 1999 moved to Elmendorf, Texas where he spent the last 25 years raising his four daughters and exploring the great state of Texas, preferably on his motorcycle.  Bobby used to say he wasn’t born in Texas but he got here as fast as he could.  No matter where he called home though, Bobby filled the lives of his family and friends with warmth and joy.  He was also a man of Faith and proud member of the Community Baptist Church Family.

Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Bob Henry, his nephew Ethan Henry, and brothers: Dutch Close and Brooks McArthy.  He is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen Henry, and his beloved daughters, Carolyn Bryce, Mary O’Neal, Lynda Grace, and Ruth Ann.  He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Braeden Sheppard Sosa, Theia Garland Henry, and Josalyn Leigh Jansky.  Bobby will be forever cherished by his siblings, Tim, Andy, Robin, Shari, Merri Beth, Sarah, and Nanci.  Bobby truly touched the lives of everyone he knew, including numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 am on September 10, 2024 at Franklin Funeral Home and a funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm.  Interment will directly follow at Floresville City Cemetery.
