Benito "Benny" Martinez Sr

Benito "Benny" Martinez Sr passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 35.  He was born in Floresville, Texas to loving parents, Martha Martinez & Rodolfo Alfaro on April 15, 1987.  Benny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Felix & Herlinda Martinez and Samuel & Dominga Alfaro.  He was survived by his parents, Martha Martinez of Floresville, Texas and Rodolfo Alfaro of San Antonio, Texas and his children Madelyn Martinez & Benito Martinez Jr of Floresville, Texas.  He will also be missed by siblings, Ashley Gamez and husband Albert III, Amy Grooner, Abby Alfaro, Carrie Estrada, Lesley Ruiz, Kayla Alfaro, Felix Martinez and wife Norma, Tony Martinez and wife Prisila, Rudy Alfaro Jr, & Ricky Alfaro.  Benny is also survived by his companion Misty Vincik as well as by his honorary parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Kollodziej.  Benny left a mark on everyone he knew and will be forever cherished by his numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 6:00 pm and a Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm.  There will also be a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 18, at 10:30 am and interment will directly follow at Floresville City Cemetery.
